RE: The Sunday rug hooking satellite in Glenwood (Howard County)

Sorry, I missed this note from Ramona from September!

Friends,

Mason Dixon is hosting 2 satellite groups, meeting on Sunday afternoons, for any who can't get to the weekday chapter meeting or who want another day of hooking.  I will be hosting one of these at the Howard County Library Glenwood on the 3rd Sunday of the month, this time on Sept 15.  I'll be there from 2:00 to 4:30 and hope you can come by for some or all.

The library is on Rt 97 just a mile or so south of the 70I and 140 intersection toward Cooksville.  This will be a casual affair, no business, just friends hooking and visiting together.  Newcomers and beginners are welcome, as are Mason Dixon members or non-members.

I'm writing this to several who have expressed interest in such a group - or some who live further west than where the Ellicott City chapter meets.  Please invite any others you want.  Maybe some will want to come and knit or sew, etc.  That's o.k. also.

We are not allowed to sell at the library, but I'm comfortable filling orders for anything you want me to bring. I'll also have a frame and some hooks for beginners if they want to try their hand.

This will be fun.  Hook On!  Ramona Cann

Congratulations to Patty Sharrer!!

Patty's got a photo of her adorable "Minnie's Quillies" (a Lucille Festa pattern) in the October/November 2013 edition of ATHA (see page 30)!

There's also a separate close-up photo of one of the quillies ... I'm thinking of a future mini-workshop one Saturday!
